How long does it take for Styling Units to ship, and why?

The Fingercomber Styling Unit (Wig) is a custom hand-working, that is individually made to order (in America).  It is not a mass produced item.  Each Styling Unit is crafted by a member of the Fingercomber Artisan Atelier.  Each one of our members is a seasoned professional at his or her craft, with no less than ten years of experience as a natural hair care professional. Each Styling Unit is made with patience, care, meticulous attention to detail, and love of craft.

Orders for our handcrafted custom Styling Units take two business days to process. After processing it takes 7 business days to make, inspect, and ship. This does not include weekends, holidays, or inclement weather. Once the Styling Unit passes inspection it is packaged by hand and shipped.

Please note that all packages returned to us marked “return-to-sender” or “undeliverable” will have to be re-shipped at customer expense. If your package is returned to us, you will be contacted via customer service to arrange a new shipping or redelivery for the reshipment of the package. If payment is not received within 15 days for the redelivery, a store credit will be issued in the amount of the merchandise purchased. Shipping fees are nonrefundable.

Have a Shipping Upgrade Promo Code?

The shipping code that you used provides you with a shipping upgrade from standard shipping to USPS Priority shipping. Standard shipping is notoriously slow, particularly during the busy holiday season. Priority shipping  runs about 2 days on domestic orders. Our offer is to give this upgrade at no additional cost, in order to get your goodies at your doorstep more quickly.

Priority Mail not fast enough? We now offer USPS priority mail express shipping upon request. You must contact customer service to receive a quote. The quote has to be paid in full through PayPal before the fastest shipping service can be added to your order. Priority Express Mail is only offered to customers in the United States.

FINGERCOMBER shipping-information

When your order is shipped, you will receive a notice that your request has been forwarded, and you will receive order confirmation within 24 hours from Pay-pal.  Once your Styling Unit has been shipped, you will then receive tracking information from us.  The postmaster can take up to 4 days to update the USPS tracking system, and there have been cases where a client receives her Styling Unit before it shows up in the postmasters update.

It typically takes 1-2 business days to process your order.  Orders are shipped Monday through Friday, excluding weekends, holidays and inclement weather.  We do NOT process and ship orders the same day except the Quick-ship items ( can not be combined with Styling Units) placed before 12 pm (EST)

 Please allow up to 2 business days for orders to be processed ( If you order any item after 12pm(EST), except a Styling Unit on Monday, your order ship out on Tuesday or Wednesday). You will receive a tracking number once your order ships.

Tracking Your Order

Once your payment has cleared, you will receive an e-mail when your order has been processed (this may take up to 48 hours). You will receive a second confirmation e-mail once your order has shipped which will include your tracking number to track the journey of your package.  If there is a problem with your tracking number or package delivery, please contact the courier directly prior to contacting us. Please contact us after the estimated delivery time.

International buyers please be advised: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.

Note: We are not responsible if the package is not delivered in the guaranteed shipping times as it takes 1-2 business days to process the order and we cannot be held liable for USPS or UPS guarantees.  If the item is not delivered in time, please contact USPS ( 1800-ASK-USPS) All of our shipments include Tracking with Delivery Confirmation. If the tracking information confirms that the item has been delivered to your order address but you have not receive your order.please contact USPS ( 1800-ASK-USPS) in order to investigate this issue. We cannot be held accountable for packages where tracking information states that the package has been delivered to your order address.

The international shipments will sometimes display as NOT FOUND depending on the type of service selected.
